Obituary of Dennis J. Harmon

Dennis J. Harmon, Sr, 45, of 60 Tower Street, died Thursday March 10, 2011, in WCA Hospital. A Jamestown native, he was born July 31, 1965 a son of Dorothy Capps Harmon Sharp and Richard Harmon. He was employed by Premier Janitorial as a supervisor and earlier had worked for Metal Tech. Surviving besides his mother of Jamestown and his father of Shelbyville, IN, are a stepfather Kyle Sharp; four children Dennis J. Harmon, Jr, Daniel J. (Shelly) Harmon, Derek J. Harmon and Kristen N. Harmon, all of Jamestown; two grandchildren Kaitlyn and Kileigh Cusimano; two brothers Robert and Richard Harmon of Jamestown; two sisters Tina Harmon and Vicki Norman of Jamestown and several nieces. He was preceded in death by his grandfather Richard Harmon. The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Monday in the Lind Funeral Home. Rev. Philip Shay, pastor of South Stockton Wayside Chapel will officiate. Inurnment will be in Sunset Hill Cemetery. Friends will be received for one hour prior to the service in the funeral home.
