Obituary of Florenda J. Bowers

Florenda J. Bowers, 52, of 264 Main Street East Randolph, died Friday March 25, 2011 in her home. She was born April 3, 1958 in Jamestown the daughter of Merrill Singer and the late Carol Winters Schweichler. For many years, Florenda owned the Winsor Ale House in Jamestown. She enjoyed painting, traveling, camping, and spending time with her grandkids. She was very giving to the community, especially around the holidays. Surviving besides her father of Falconer are, a daughter Teresa M. Kozaczki, and a son Anthony J. (Crystal) Kozaczki, both of Jamestown; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; brother and sisters, Brenda J. Eganski of Randolph; Dewayne (Darlene Mitchell) Singer of Bemus Point; Robin Ferrari of Jamestown; three stepsons, Larry, Jim Jr., and Dean Bowers; a stepdaughter, Pam Bowers; and several nieces and nephews. Besides her mother, she was preceded in death by her husband, Layton Bowers, and a niece, Kiersten Eganski. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday March 29, 2011 in the Lind Funeral Home. A private memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family.
