Obituary of Louanna M. Sonafrank

Louanna M. Sonafrank, 68, of 1 Green St. Lakewood, NY, died Tuesday March 22, 2011 in her home. She was the widow of Carl Sonafrank. Surviving are her mother, Dorothy Winders; daughter, Joanna Sumner; three granddaughters, Lydia, Louanna, and Bonnie; three great grandchildren, David, DJ, and Auron; two sisters, Mary Winders, Ruth Owen; and many friends. Louanna chose to serve her community as a registered nurse at WCA Hospital and volunteering at Miracle Mountain Ranch. She also worked with the Awana program and in other areas at Lakewood Baptist Church. A Memorial Service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday April 2, 2011 in the Lakewood Baptist Church. Visiting hours will be from 1:00 to 2:30 p.m. Saturday in the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Lakewood Baptist Church, 150 Erie St., Lakewood, NY 14750; or Miracle Mountain Ranch, 101 Rodeo Drive, Spring Creek, PA 16436; or Chautauqua County Humane Society, 2825 Strunk Road, Jamestown, NY 14701.
