Obituary of Alden G. Wedburg

Alden G. Wedburg, 81, of 3579 Nutt Road, Jamestown and Clearwater, FL died Thursday March 17, 2011 in Clearwater. A Jamestown native, he was born September 27, 1929, a son of John Emil and Florence Mildred Carlson Wedburg. He was a Korean War veteran serving in the US Army from 1951-53. He was a 1947 graduate of Jamestown High School. Prior to his retirement in 1994, he was employed by Ellison Bronze as a draftsman for 47 years. He was a member of Busti Federated Church, Viking Lodge, Herman Kent Post #777 American Legion, Lakewood Rod and Gun Club and was a life member of Busti Volunteer Fire Department. Surviving are his wife, the former Susabelle James whom he married April 3, 1954; a daughter, Nancy (Robert) DeMauri of Corry, PA; a son, Wayne (Joanna) Wedburg of Busti; a grandson, Aaron Coseo of Erie, PA; and two step grandchildren, Jason and Jillian Kissinger, both of Busti. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by a sister, Violet Andrews. A memorial service will be held on a date to be announced in May 2011 in Jamestown. Inurnment will be in Busti Cemetery.
