Obituary of Ernest L. Rexford

Ernest L. Rexford, 82, died Saturday March 26, 2011 at the Lutheran Home and Rehabilitation Center. He was a US Army Veteran who proudly served in Korea, and was a member of the Westfield American Legion and VFW. Surviving is his wife of 58 years, Gladis I. Rexford; four children, Judy Bates, David Rexford, Ernest "Roy" Rexford, and Brenda McChesney. He had ten grandchildren; one great grandson; and a sister, Ethel Hutt. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest and Mabel Woodin Rexford, and three brothers, George, Ray, and Russell Rexford. A Memorial Service will be held at 11 AM Saturday April 2, 2011 in Christ Chapel at Lutheran Social Services.
