Obituary of Marilyn J. Seymour

Marilyn J. Seymour, 84, of Heritage Park Rehab and Skilled Nursing Facility, formerly of 189 Cole Ave, died Wednesday March 30, 2011 at WCA Hospital. She was born December 4, 1926 in Jamestown, the daughter of Kenneth and Allene Wahlgren Seymour. Marilyn was a 1945 graduate of Jamestown High School. She was employed as a switchboard operator at Chautauqua Hardware, Jamestown Telephone Co., and Jamestown General Hospital. She was a member of the Vikings, and Thule Lodge. Surviving are several cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, and her dear friend, William Magnuson. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday in the Lind Funeral Home. The Rev. Gerald A. Haglund, Heritage group chaplain will officiate. Burial will be in Sunset Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service Saturday in the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Chautauqua County Humane Society, 2825 Strunk Road, Jamestown, NY 14701.
