Obituary of John W. Morrell

John W. Morrell, 32, of 172 Falconer Street, died Tuesday April 26, 2011. A native of Jamestown, he was born January 18, 1979, a son of Randall Morrell and Michelle Boreck Pacheco. He was employed by Rudy's Pizza and was a member of Alcoholics Anonymous and Narcotics Anonymous. He enjoyed fishing and repairing cars and electronics. Surviving besides his mother of Panama and his father of Cape Coral, FL are two sisters Monica Warren and Nichole Philbrick, both of Jamestown; a brother Richard Philbrick of Jamestown; step father John Pacheco of Panama; maternal grandfather John Boreck of Jamestown and seven nieces and nephews to whom he was especially close. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother Miriam Boreck. The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Friday in the Lind Funeral Home. Rev. Violet Davidson, pastor of Lakewood United Methodist Church will officiate. Burial will be in Lake View Cemetery. Friends will be received from 7-9 p.m. Thursday and for one hour prior to the service Friday in the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the family to help with funeral expenses.
