Obituary of Ann-Marie Aronson

Ann Marie Aronson, 75, of 230 Schuyler St Jamestown, died Wednesday April 27, 2011 in her home. A lifelong area resident, she was born April 13, 1936 in Jamestown the daughter of the late Fred G. and Elsie Samuelson Hillstrom. Ann Marie was a 1954 graduate of Jamestown High School and received her Licensed Practical Nursing degree from the Jamestown School of Practical Nursing, and her Registered Nursing degree from the Jamestown Community College School of Nursing. For 17 years, she was employed as a R.N. at Warren State Hospital; and for 13 years at the former Manor Oak Skilled Nursing Facility, retiring in 2002 as Head Nursing Supervisor. She was a member of the Thule Lodge #127. Surviving are her brother and sister-in-law, Roger and Susan Hillstrom of Delhi, NY. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, LeRoy "Sonny" Aronson whom she married September 17, 1960, and who died April 25, 1988. A private service will be held at the convenience of the family. Visitation will not be observed. Burial will be in Lake View Cemetery.
