Obituary of Robert B. Keith
Robert Blaine Keith, 71, of Celoron, NY formerly of Youngsville, PA and Lakewood, NY, died Saturday night April 30, 2011 at Heritage Green Rehab and Skilled Nursing Facility in Greenhurst, NY after a short illness of the past few months.
A New York resident the past 16 years, he was born August 21, 1939 in Girard, PA the son of Manville W. and Anna Mae Merril Keith.
Robert was a 1958 graduate of Youngsville Area High School. He was retired from Rexnord in Warren, PA where he had worked for 38 years.
He was a member of the Chautauqua Lake Fishing Association. Robert enjoyed dancing, hunting, fishing, outdoor activities, family picnics, and was a true fan of NASCAR racing.
Survivors include his mother of Pleasant Ridge in Girard, PA; a brother, Thomas Keith of Pensacola, FL; a sister, Carol Keith Bowers and her husband Gerald of Girard; a son, Dean (Curt) Keith of New York City; two daughters, Karla Keith Kimmy and husband Dean of Wattsburg, PA; Alicia Keith Gray and companion David of Sheffield, PA; five grandchildren, Kyle and Luke Kimmy of Wattsburg; Zack and Kierra Weilacher and Allyssa Gray all from Sheffield; one great granddaughter, Sophia Kimmy; and many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Friends may call at the Lind Funeral Home, 805 West Third St. Jamestown, NY on Tuesday May 3, 2011 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Funeral services will be held there on Wednesday May 4, 2011 at 11 a.m.
Burial will be at Sunset Hill Cemetery in Lakewood, NY.
