Obituary of Kenneth R. Adams, Sr.

Kenneth R. "Rick" Adams, Sr., 62, of the High Rise Apartments, died Saturday May 7, 2011, in WCA Hospital. A native of Jamestown, he was born July 17, 1948, a son of the late Kenneth J. Adams and Alice Snyder Adams Hallett. He was a self employed contractor and was a member of the Chautauqua Lake Fishing Association. Surviving are three sons Kenneth (Rhonda) Adams, Jr., Kevin (Kathy) Adams and Keith (Nadine) Adams all of Jamestown; four grandchildren Tasha, Keith Jr., Kassandra and Halie Adams all of Jamestown; two great grandchildren Aayla and Dakota LeAnn Adams; a brother William Adams, companion Chandra Goodway, caregiver Robert Howard; two stepbrothers Paul and Kenny Nelson and a step sister Sharon Nelson. He was preceded in death by his wife the former Priscilla "Perky" Harris, an infant daughter and a step brother Lloyd Nelson. A graveside memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Lake View Cemetery. Visitation will not be observed. Memorials may be made to Chautauqua Lake Fishing Club.
