Mom...I'm trying really hard to get back to normal because I know that's what you would want me to do now. I take comfort in knowing your pain and confusion is gone and that you are like new. I know it would have been selfish of me to pray for you to stay. I wish I could have taken the pain and bad times away and I wish I could have talked with you just one more time before you left. I am thankful for Aunt Lee and the time she was able to spend with you while you were sick. Knowing she was there with her "Sis" with kind words and a gentle touch before you left us was a blessing to me. Jeni, Lyndsay, and I have so many fond memories of our times together and we will cherish them always and forever. Many who knew you after you became ill missed out on the real you...You were beautiful on the inside as well as the outside. You were proud of yourself and you took extreme pride in your home and your family. You gave me more than you will ever know and I hope I will continue to live my life in a way that would please you. I give you all of the credit for my abilities as a mom and a wife as well as for my work ethic. I will always treasure my memories of the holidays and the way you celebrated Christmas and the traditions you shared. Jeni and Lyndsay will never let a Christmas go by without making your ornament cookies and I know it's a tradition they will keep with their children as well one day. I will never forget your love for cooking and the aroma of your house when you were cooking and baking bread and pies, your love of flowers and all of nature’s beauty. The greatest lesson you left me with is that there aren't enough minutes in the day, enough days in the week, enough weeks in the month, or enough months in the year and that we should savor and delight in every moment we have here on earth. Until we meet again...I love you and I miss you dearly. Always, Cherrie Lynn

Dear Cheryl: My prayers are with you and your family. Remember, God stores all your tears in a bottle and will wipe every one away when you see Him face to face. The Lord sees your faithfulness as a daughter and He is pleased. He will renew your strength like the eagles as you wait on Him. Love and Peace, Theresa

Dear Cheryl and family, I didn't personally know your Mom but I do know that you loved her very much and you had good memories of her good food that she prepared with love & pride. When it comes time for your weekly chat instead of being sad, recall a happy memory.
I am so sorry for your loss.
Your friend, Pat
