Obituary of Dorothy C. Anderson

Dorothy C. Anderson, 86, formerly of 85 Frederick Blvd, died Friday May 20, 2011, in the Lutheran Home and Rehabilitation Center. A native of Jamestown, she was born November 9, 1924, a daughter of C. Ossian and Ella Carlson Gustafson. She was a graduate of Celoron High School and worked as a dental assistant for Dr. Ernest Hunt. She was a former member of Lakewood United Methodist Church and the Vikings. Surviving are two daughters Lynette Nagel of Lakewood and Marcia (Gary) Kent of Jamestown; two grandchildren Stephanie (Justin) Devereaux and Paul (Cassie) Taber, both of Lakewood and two great grandchildren Victoria and Austin Devereaux. She was preceded in death by her husband Raymond C. Anderson, whom she married November 2, 1946 and who died December 1, 2010. A private graveside service was held in Lake View Cemetery.
