My thoughts and prayers are with you Peg and your family. Bill was the greatest boss I ever worked with. He loved his family and I respected him for being understanding and an encouragement to me. He tried to inspire me to learn more than the computer programs we ran and understand how? Although, I tried, he did however inspire me to go to college and never stop learning something new. I was so glad we ran into each other last year with his beautiful family and when he called me his girl friday, I took it as a complement. He never doubted I could learn all the stuff he taught me at work. I guess he never stopped being a teacher at heart. I was sadded by the news of his loss. But so happy he will be joining Steven, his son whom he loved so much. Please know he will be missed and thank you for sharing him with so many. God bless you all, Sonja

Bill was a quiet, gentle man that would do anything for anyone. I remember time spent at Democratic headquarters stuffing envelopes, phone calls, and doing lit drops early Saturday mornings.Bill could tell great stories about his family, the grandkids were an important part of his life.

Bill & I were classmates at CCS, with mutual crushes on each other, but both too shy to be on speaking terms! But over the years, especially when he and Peg brought my mom along with them on several Labor Day weekends, we enjoyed many hours discussing our mutual love of reading, sharing memories of schoolmates, friends and family. Oh yes, he did love to go on and on with political issues, but being apolitical myself, they were pretty much one-sided discussions. And now I confess - I on't think Bill ever caught on that I am apolitical. It is with great sadness that I say goodby to Bill. And I will always love Peg for her caring for others (my mom included), her wisdom, her strength, her sense of humor, teaching me how to make the world's best pot roast, and for giving me wonderful memories of Bill.

He was good grandpa and he played with us real well and read me fairy tales and he played "Tonga" with us.
"Tonga" is in heaven today in a big beautiful house with Uncle Steve. I will see him when I die and he will always be a good grandpa.
