I am truly sorry for you loss. I pray for strength for all of you in the days to come. I know that Don is rejoicing in Heaven with our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Singing praises to Him with John and his sister Joan and of course my dad Jim Keefe. Just remember never say good-bye say these words - 'Until we meet again'.

My thoughts go out to Don's children. On fishing trips Don would always speak about his two kids....how proud he was of them & their accomplishments and families. Nancy, daughter Megan, and I have so many fond memories of Don & Grace. You just can't seperate the two wonderful people. I just want Don's children to know that their parent's touched my families lives and we are all better for it. May God bless Don & Grace and help his children better understand and accept both his death and their love for both of them.
Sincerely,
The Carney Family, Tim, Nancy, & Megan of Florida

When I was employed as a customer service rep. at Chase Bank/M&T Bank, your Dad and Mom were 2 of my favorite customers. They were always so kind and freindly to me when they came to do their banking. I always admired them for being such an attractive couple. Your dad will be greatly missed by all. My thoughts and prayers are with your family.

My husband Eric, and I, held great respect for Don. We attend Hillcrest church. I got to know him and Elaine only over the last several years, as he was caring for her at home. I can't make it to the calling hours to tell the family in person, but I just want you to know he impacted my life. I was so very impressed by the way he took care of his wife. What he did is the right way to honor and love your spouse to the very end of one's life. I will always remember him for that. My deepest sympathies are extended to you in this time of grief. I am praying for you, his family.

I had the privilege of working as office manager for Don. He was a gentleman and a man for whom I had great respect. I spoke with Don on the phone a few weeks prior to his passing and I am so grateful for that conversation. He was so upbeat and we laughed talking about the "old days". Don and Elaine will always have a special place in my heart. They not only were a beautiful couple in appearance but their beauty of compassion, generosity and kindness never went unnoticed. May God bless and comfort their family.

I was fortunate to be one to take a meal in to Don and Elaine and had a wonderful visit with them. So many great times we all spent as families as we grew up. I will alway remember the sunday afternoon that Don called and wanted to take us all sailing and to the Hare n' Hoards for dinner for my 16 birthday. Don was alway so loving and gentle man. He will be missed. Love to you all.

Kathy,
I'm so sorry to hear about the passing of your father. When we were kids, I was always so envious because you had the most glamorous, lovely parents. In the past few years - up until my father passed away a little while ago, I traveled to Jamestown weekly and took my father to church. Almost every Sunday we attended together, there was your father so gently and attentively taking care of your mother - who looked gorgeous, as always. What a special man he was.
