Ted was one of my favorites!!
He had a hearty voice and a gentle spirit, full of laughther, loved to talk about the "old times" with my Dad John Morris, and anyone really. (And I loved to listen!!) They were best fiends from childhood, hard to find a friend like that, and oh they had the tales to tell. I remember that every weekend they (Dad, Mom, Ted & Nan) would get together laught and play cards & take turns hosting (I remember that Nan). Dad always talked as though Ted were his brother. (I actually thought he was.) I loved and respected Ted because of that. When Dad passed, I looked @ Ted as my "Dad" and loved him that way. I will miss him. He was a link to my past, a reflection of my childhood. The four of you showed me the true meaing of friendship and the value of life. The four of you represented 'pillars' of a strong generation, where families, hard work and self respect and the respect for others were important. I love you too Nan, and all the times in prayers you spent for us (just like a Mom would do) I now hold you up.
God Bless you,
you are always in my heart.
Love you, Cindy
