Obituary of Dennis C. Faulkner

Dennis C. Faulkner, 65, of 5332 Madden Road, Panama, died Friday June 17, 2011, in Corry Memorial Hospital. An area resident all of his life, he was born January 31, 1946, in Jamestown, a son of the late Clare and May Thompson Faulkner. He attended Panama Central School, was baptized in Watts Flats United Methodist Church and worked for Dawson Metal for 38 years. He had a passion for NASCAR racing, loved animals and was an avid fan of Stateline Speedway. Surviving are a brother Howard (Donna) Faulkner of Erie; a sister Sharon (Patrick) Finnerty, Sr. of Niobe; three nephews Patrick (Carrie) Finnerty, Jr. of Panama, Matthew (Billie Jo) Finnerty of Panama and Jonathan Faulkner of Erie and two nieces Gina (Dr. Kurt) Lund of Corry, PA and Alicia Finnerty of Falconer. He was preceded in death by his parents. The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Monday in the Lind Funeral Home. Pastor Warren VanDewark will officiate. Burial will be in Sunset Hill Cemetery.
