Obituary of Cindy Lou Chapman

Cindy Lou Chapman, 43, of 41 Broadhead Ave. passed away at 3:58 a.m. Saturday (June 25, 2011) in her home. An area resident for most of her life, she was born March 26, 1968 in Jamestown, NY a daughter of Vernon Ellsworth Proper and Diana Lee Pierce Marks. In earlier years she had worked for the Checker Cab Company. She loved to play bingo, watch movies and spend time with her family. Surviving are her mother of Jamestown, her father of Columbus, OH, her three children Danielle Cheyene (Randy) Coone of Jamestown, Charles Vernon Chapman of Bemus Point, Tristan Bradley Chapman of Jamestown, two grandchildren Tristan Chapman, Jr. and Charles Chapman, Jr., three step grandchildren, a brother David Allen Eriksen and a sister Vickie Clifton, both of Jamestown, her Aunt Barbara Rivera of Sodus, NY and her loving companion of 15 years Dan King with whom she made her home. The funeral will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday in the Lind Funeral Home. The Rev. Nate Wood, pastor of the Ellery Baptist Church will officiate. Burial will be in the Lake View Cemetery. Friends will be received for one hour prior to the service on Tuesday in the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to Cindy's family to help defray expenses.
