A very gentle soul with so many talents and artistic abilities...that was Uncle Don. He was quiet and unassuming, but with a quick wit. Whistling away when working and carving, you always knew he was there. He was a master at fixing everything. He will be forever missed by all those who knew him and loved him. He has gone to his greatest reward. God speed, Uncle Don.

Don was always a joy to be around. Saturday morning breakfasts at Ericksons and family reunions on the lake are times I knew I would always see Don. My condolences to Martha, Mark, Susan and their families. He was a wonderful man.

I worked with Don at Pearl City for four years from 1984 until 1988. We made a great team up there in the loft, and I have fond memories of the time I spent with him. He helped me through a rough personal time one summer; his patience, wisdom and compassion made such an impact on me.
I have to laugh a little when I think of Don in those days - you always knew where he was, as he usually whistled as he made his way through the store!
Godspeed, Don.
And to Martha, Mark, Sue and the rest of the family, may you find grace and peace knowing you have your angel watching over you.

As Christians, we believe death is only a temporary separation and know that our Heavenly Father will comfort all of us with the promise of a blessed reunion with my brother Don one day in the presence of our Lord. We will miss him being the anchor in our New York branch of the family! We send our love to you all...

Dad...I love you so. Thank you for your strength and quiet dignity through this difficult "tack" you made sailing home to be with the Lord. You are an inspiration to me.
