Obituary of David L. DeAngelo

David L. De Angelo, 61, of 303 West 5th St. Jamestown, formerly of Erie, PA, died Monday (July 4, 2011) in his home. He was born October 1, 1949 in Jamestown the son of Samuel J. and Florence "Flossie" De Angelo. David had been employed at the former Dahlstrom Mfg. Co. and Bob Evans Restaurant in Erie. He was an avid fan of the NY Yankee's. Surviving are his mother Flossie of Jamestown; a sister, Bess (Dick) Christensen of Tucson, AZ; a nephew, Jeff (Debi) Christensen; great nephew, Tyler Christensen; and great niece, Hannah Christensen, all of Tucson. He was preceded in death by his father, grandparents; and several aunts and uncles. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday in the Lind Funeral Home. Burial will be in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Visitation will not be observed. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105; or Roswell Park Cancer Institute, PO Box 631, Buffalo, NY 14240-0631.
