We were so sorry to hear of your loss. Sophia was a very special person and a wonderful neighbor. All of our children and grandchildren treasure the blankets that she so generously sent them on special occasions. I always enjoyed our long distant chats we had as we made our many moves. Mary, I'm so glad that you were able to make her final years so comfortable. May all of your family remember all the joyous times you spent with her. Sincerely, Mardi, Larry and family

Dear Mary and Brian~
I am so sorry at your loss, but know she had a good long life and now is no longer suffering. I know how hard it is to lose a parent, especially your last one, and yet you have so many wonderful memories to hold dear to your heart....and to share with your grandchildren. Know that my thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time and even though I can't be there with you, I am there in spirit. My deepest sympathy to you and yours. We will chat when you get settled back in at home.
Much love, Pam

Sophia's faith is an inspiration to all of us. She truly cared and reached out to people. She often talked of her children & grandchildren, whom she loved dearly. Sophia helped encourage
us during our time at The first Baptist church & WCA. We will remember her always for her character & wonderfully radiant personality.
With Love, Meridith, Bob, Michele, Nicole & Steve Gerring

What a woman!!There were so many things we loved about Sophia: her infectious smile, her wonderful laugh, her love for her church and for this pastor & wife. She loved to share her opinion and would always qualify it with, "You know me..." What a blessing to us when she was able to worship with us 3 times last summer in Westfield, IN. Thanks Lee. Finally, make sure you always pronounce her name correctly. She will be missed. She was such an inspiration to us. I'm sure she is sharing all her opinions with Jesus right now, and he has a great big smile on his face--for another saint has come home. Our prayers are with all of you. Love, Mark & Brenda
