Obituary of Franklin B. Garvin

Franklin B. Garvin, 44, of 116 Tower Street, died Monday July 11, 2011, in WCA Hospital. A Jamestown native, he was born January 8, 1967, a son of the late Harley R. "Ray" Garvin and Corene Hamrick Garvin. He graduated from Mesquite Valley High School, Dallas, TX. He was employed as a machinist by Weber Knapp and later by NAPA Auto Parts. Surviving are his wife the former Lynette Conklin, whom he married May 7, 2005, a daughter Dawnee Brown of Jamestown and three brothers Ronnie (Sheryl) Garvin and Richard (Vickie) Garvin, both of Jamestown and Harley "Randy" Garvin of Dallas, TX. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by a sister Connie Yanik. A private funeral service will be held at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in Lake View Cemetery.
