Obituary of Timothy F. Hunt

Timothy F. Hunt, 65, of 2932 Garfield Road, died Thursday, July 14, 2011 in WCA Hospital. He was the husband of Nancy Curry Hunt, whom he married June 11, 1977. A lifelong area resident, he was born April 13, 1946 in Jamestown, a son of the late Stanley and Mary Trubeck Hunt. He graduated from Bemus Point High School and was a veteran of the US Army. Tim owned and operated T & H Painting Co. in Jamestown for over 30 years, retiring in 2006 due to ill health. He was a member of the Chautauqua Lake Fishing Assoc., Lakewood Rod & Gun Club, Busti Trap Club and the Celoron Trap & Skeet Club. Tim was well known for his love of hunting and fishing. In addition to his wife, surviving is a daughter, Kim (Jeremy) Survil of Allegany, NY and brother, Terry (Connie) Hunt of Jamestown. The funeral will be held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday in the Lind Funeral Home. The Rev. Donald E. Ray will officiate. Burial will be in Sunset Hill Cemetery. Friends will be received for two hours prior to the service in the funeral home Sunday.
