Our dear Sister Hilma, what a blessed saint of God! To a multitude of young campers she and Brother Harold were "Mr. and Mrs. Camp Crossroads". For them Camp Crossroads was a labor of love.
Many will remember Sister Hilma singing:
Unworthy am I of the grace that He gave,
Unworthy to hold to His hand;
Amazed that a King would reach down to a slave,
This love I cannot understand.
Unworthy, unworthy, a beggar;
In bondage and alone;
But He made me worthy and now by His grace,
His mercy has made me His own.
May the Lord be a comfort and help to her family and friends and to all who are saddened to learn of her passing.

Sis. Hilma North, you can'nt think of her without thinking also of Bro. Harold North. After a person is married for so many years you truely become one. They learned from the Lord one of the most valuable things we can have in this life, happness, true happness. It is not in what we have but is found in what we give away. Hilma and Harold gave their all to others all the time and God always supplied their needs and sent many blessings. It was a honor to have known them.

Hilma brighten the room whenever she came in with her cheery smile and attitude.
Her Love for the Lord was outstanding and she was faithful to death.
We will always hold fond memories of her.

I will forever hold great memories of my dear Sister Hilma. Her years of service at Camp Crossroads made a deep impression on my life.
Her smiling face was always an encouragement. It was a privilege to have her and Bro. North minister to me, and a greater privilege to minister along side of them at times.
I know heaven is celebrating the arrival of this dear lady.

Sister Hilma was a dear saint who touched many lives. The children in Jamaica, at Camp Crossroads where she & Brother North were known as "Mr & Mrs. Crossroads" and the children here in Clayton. Her beautiful smile as she played the organ lit up the church. She was loved dearly and is missed greatly but we are rejoicing that she has finally gone home and is rejoicing with the loved ones there.

So many wonderful memories with Grandma North. She was a beautiful person in every way.We will miss her very much. She is now walking the golden streets in Heaven and in peace. She is with Jesus and I bet she is so very happy to be with God now.This isn't good bye, but only an end to her life on earth. She will now live on and we will all meet up in Heaven someday. Praise God!!!

I'll miss cousin Hilma.Our family enjoyed going to the farm to visit with Grandma, Uncle Victor and Hilma.In those days,our parents did not have a car so visits were limited and we really did enjoy it.We always went for Christmas Eve. to celebrate.On one occasion the taxi couldn't go any farther so we had to walk. Hilma loved the Lord and was always willing to witness for Him. Our thoughts and Prayers go out to Harold and Dick and the families. God bless you Hilma,in your new home.

We send our love and sympathy to the family of Hilma. I did not know her well even though she was my aunt, but dad talked of her often. It was so wonderful to see them get re-aquainted at my home in Jamestown.

I've actually known Hilma almost all my life. My parents helped take care of the camp she and her husband ran in PA. I found her again at The Salvation Army a few years ago. She was always so kind, and full of love for God. I will miss her greatly.

Cousin Hilma, with her lovely smile, will be remembered by us all with love & affection.
Memories go back a long way to a simpler time on Grandma & Uncle Victor's farm, where my parents took my sisters Dorothy & Nancy & I to spend the day. They would sometimes pick us up in Falconer with the Horse & Buggy!
Mom thought of Hilma as her daughter, as Mom's sister, who was Hilma's mother, died when Hilma was an infant. My deepest sympathy goes out to Hilma's beloved boys, Harold & Richard, her Grandchildren & the entire family.
A deeply religious woman,she spoke of going home to be with the Lord, was faithful & loved to play the piano & sing religious songs well in to advanced age.
Rest in peace dear Hilma!
