Obituary of Wilma H. Johnson

Wilma H. Johnson, 96, of 434 Baker St. Jamestown, died Sunday July 31, 2011 in her home. She was born December 22, 1914 in Busti, NY the daughter of Frank E. and Effie Wilson Porter. Prior to retirement, she had been employed at the former King Manor Nursing Home. Wilma was a member of the Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter Day Saints. Surviving are a daughter, Jeanette King of Jamestown; 16 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; and 26 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Reynold W. Johnson; two daughters, Lorraine Reuff; Loretta Abers; two grandchildren; two great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; four brothers, Ernest Porter; Herman Porter; Alton Porter; Elde Porter; and three sisters, Lillian Porter; Iva Kettle; and Etta Cunningham. The funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday in the Lind Funeral Home. Burial will be in Sunset Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and for one hour prior to the service Thursday in the funeral home.
