Obituary of Josephine M. Pallozzi

Josephine M. Pallozzi, 88, of 41 Arden Parkway, formerly of 226 Broadhead Avenue and 511 Hallock Street, died Monday August 22, 2011 in her home. A Jamestown native, she was born June 15, 1923, a daughter of the late Thomas and Carmella Pintagro. She was a communicant of Holy Apostles Ss Peter and Paul Catholic Church. Her grandchildren were her hobby and she very much enjoyed the time she spent caring for them. Surviving are four children Ronald (Cindy) Pallozzi of Windham, ME, Thomas Pallozzi of Jamestown, Rosemarie Germonto of West Ellicott and Carmella Houben of Jamestown; eight grandchildren Joseph Pallozzi of Portland, ME, Mark Pallozzi of Jamestown, Andrea Pallozzi of Busti, William Germonto of West Ellicott, Christopher Germonto of Jamestown, Tina Hetrick of West Ellicott, Frank Houben of Jamestown and Joseph Houben of Jamestown and fourteen great grandchildren. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Frank Pallozzi, who died June 21, 1992, a grandson Thomas Houben, two sisters and three brothers. The funeral will be held at 9:30 a.m. Friday in the Lind Funeral Home. Rev. Dennis W. Mende will officiate. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery.
