Obituary of Penny E. Hintz
Penny E. Hintz, 53, of 1660 Mee Road, Falconer, went to be with the Lord Tuesday, August 30, 2011, in Kenmore Mercy Hospital, Buffalo, surrounded by her loving family.
She was born July 2, 1958, in Jamestown, a daughter of Oke and Pauline Curtis Lindell.
She was a 1976 graduate of Jamestown High School where she was a cheerleader and participated in training at the Rafael School of Beauty.
She was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars and American Legion Auxiliaries and the Women of the Moose.
Penny was known for her kind heart and her compassion for people. Her greatest joys in life were her children, grandchildren and long time companion. She loved to play bingo and go to the casino.
Surviving are her father of Jamestown, two daughters Colorado and Krystal Hintz, both of Jamestown; six grandchildren Austin Carlson, Isaac Lawson, Karin Abbey, Makayla Hintz, Madalynn Hutley and Nevaeh Abbey, her long time companion, friend and soul mate Thomas Todaro, with whom she made her home, two sisters Yvonne Colburn and Priscilla Steed, both of Jamestown, niece Tabetha Whitaker; two nephews Raymond Whitaker and James Colburn and several great nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her mother November 26, 1986.
The funeral will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday in the Lind Funeral Home. Rev. Daniel K. Nagle will officiate.
Burial will be in Holy Sepulchre.
Friends will be received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday in the Lind Funeral Home.
