Obituary of Neal W. Snow

Neal W. Snow, 68, of 44 Seneca Street, Salamanca, died Thursday September 8, 2011, in WCA Hospital. He was born January 11, 1943, in Salamanca, a son of the late Windsor and Nellie Mitten Snow. He was a veteran of the US Navy and worked for Lockheed-Martin, Burbank, CA as a combination welder. He was a member of the Moose, San Fernando, CA and was an avid hunter and fisherman. Surviving are his wife the former Linda Smith, whom he married July 3, 1965, eight children Jeff (Shelly) Snow, Neal (Angela) Snow, Veronica (Vic) Klugh, Ben (Laura) Snow, Anthony Snow, Kathleen Snow and Cassie Snow, all of Jamestown and Emily Snow of Rockford, IL; 12 grandchildren and four sisters Clausie Szarowicz and Mabel Snow of Jamestown, Olive Buck of Salamanca and Caroline (Gary) Smith of Albuquerque, NM. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers Leslie Snow and Gerald "Joe" Snow and three sisters Harriett Snow, Emma Stone and Rita Snow. The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Monday in the Lind Funeral Home where friends will be received for one hour prior to the service.
