Obituary of Joseph R. Brunacini, Jr.

Joseph R. Brunacini Jr., 62, of the STEL Home on 515 Washington St., passed away on September 14, 2011 at WCA Hospital. Joseph was a lifelong resident of Jamestown. He was born February 7, 1949, the son of Joseph R. Brunacini Sr., and Josephine (Guttadauria) Brunacini. Besides his parents, he is survived by five sisters, Valerie (Lester) Hill; Marilyn (Dr. William) Bellavia; Anne (Dr. Craig) Gordon; Mary (Patrick) Hoover; Martine (Pastor John) Hamilton; five brothers, Vincent (Debra Lawson); Dr. Timothy (Suzanne Hunt); Michael; William; and Gerard (Shelly Berardi). He was preceded in death by two sisters, Vincene in 1947 and Catherine in 1963. Joseph attended St. James Catholic School and was a self taught musician. He was a Bible advocate and truly loved the Lord. He will be greatly missed by many nieces and nephews who loved their Uncle Joe dearly. Rest in Peace our son, brother, and friend. A private service will be held at the Lind Funeral Home. Joe's nephew, Rev. Daniel Bellavia will officiate the ceremony. Burial will be in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. A special thank you to the STEL Home for the loving care provided to our "Joey". No visitation will be observed. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a charity of one's choice.
