Obituary of Flora Delle Pintagro

Flora Delle Pintagro, 72, died Friday (September 16, 2011) in her home. She was born November 8, 1938 in Jamestown the daughter of the late Elmer A. and Celia E. Whitford Huber. Prior to retirement, Flora worked at Cummins Engine as a customer service representative. She was a member of the Celoron and Lakewood Senior Citizens, and volunteered at Saint Susan's Soup Kitchen. She had a loving and kind heart. Her kids and grandkids were her life. Surviving are three children, Jimmy Schauers Sr.; Jody (Joseph) Glover; Tammy (William) Gardner; all of Jamestown; nine grandchildren, William Pearson, Elizabeth Fann, Jimmy Schauers Jr., Chad Schauers, Cody Schauers, Joshua Glover, Andrew Glover, Bianca Gardner, William Gardner; five great grandchildren; and her sister in law, Sylvia Huber of Jamestown. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Thomas Pintagro whom she married August 1970 and who died April 20, 1979; a brother, James Huber; and a sister, Betty Young. The funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM Tuesday in the Lind Funeral Home. Her nephew, Rev. Steven Young will officiate. Burial will be in Sunset Hill Cemetery.
