Obituary of Marcella Carlson

Marcella J. "Cindy" Carlson, 57, of 322 Palmer Street, died Wednesday October 5, 2011, in WCA Hospital. She was born May 2, 1954, in Jamestown, the daughter of Theodore Truver and the late Joan Bryant Truver. She loved the outdoors and time spent camping. Surviving besides her father of Lakewood are two sons Chad Carlson and Jason Wasson, both of Jamestown, two grandsons Sean and Dreux Carlson, three brothers Doug (Lauralee) Truver of Jamestown, Tim Truver of Lakewood and Bob (Kim) Truver of Busti, her mother-in-law Viola Carlson of Ashville and several nieces and nephews. Besides her mother she was preceded in death by her husband Gary L. Carlson, whom she married August 18, 1979 and who died March 15, 2003, a son Matthew Scott Carlson, a daughter Traci Lynn Wasson Carlson and father-in-law Roger Carlson. The funeral will be held at 2p.m. Saturday in the Lind Funeral home. Rev. Donald E. Ray will officiate. Inurnment will be in Sunset Hill Cemetery.
