Obituary of Roy R. Thelander

Roy R. Thelander, 65, of 888 Hunt Road, Lakewood, died Friday October 21, 2011. A Jamestown native, he was born July 9, 1946, a son of the late Ragnar and Victoria Pettersson Thelander. He was employed by the Resource Center's Day Habilitation Program. He attended First Church of God. His interests include music and golf. Surviving are a sister Eivor Keller of Jamestown; a brother Jerald (Carla) Thelander of Castle Rock, CO; two nephews Erik (Julie) Thelander of Centennial, CO and Andrew Thelander of Park City Utah and two great nephews. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the Lind Funeral Home. Rev. Myron M. Myers will officiate. Inurnment will be in Grace Memorial Gardens, Hudson, FL. Friends will be received for one hour prior to the service Wednesday in the funeral home.
