Obituary of Gladis I. Rexford

Gladis Irene Rexford, 80, died Wednesday November 2, 2011 at the Lutheran Home and Rehabilitation Center. She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Ernest Leroy Rexford who died March 26, 2011. For several years, she and her husband raised many foster children and loved them as their own. Surviving are four children, Judy Bates, David Rexford, Ernest "Roy" Rexford, and Brenda McChesney. She had 10 grandchildren, and one great grandson. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, Jerry David Sr. and Viola Grace Foster, and several brothers and sisters. A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday November 25, 2011 in Christ Chapel at Lutheran Social Services.
