Obituary of Margaret V. Swiderski

Margaret V. Swiderski, 93, formerly of the Hotel Jamestown, died Monday November 7, 2011, in Heritage Park Rehab and Skilled Nursing. Moving to Jamestown in the 1940s, she was born June 13, 1918, in Spring Creek Township, PA, the daughter of Ralph and Gertha Adams Miles. Prior to her retirement she was employed by the T. James Clarke Box Factory. She was a member of Jehovah's Witness, East Congregation. Surviving are a son Arthur (Linda) Bailey, Jr., of Pittsfield, PA, nineteen grandchildren, two step grandchildren and many great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Albert "George" Swiderski, August 4, 1983, a son Richard Bailey and three daughters Lois Bowers, Janice Mihalco and Virginia Bailey. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday in Jehovah's Witness, East Congregation, 180 Martin Road, Jamestown. Visitation will not be observed.
