Obituary of John P. Truver

John P. Truver, 36, of 337 Crossman Street, Jamestown, died Saturday November 12, 2011, in WCA Hospital. He was born January 29, 1975, in Jamestown, the son of Scott and Nancy Briggs Truver. He was a graduate of Southwestern Central School and had been employed by Bob Evans Restaurant as a cook. Surviving besides his father of Jamestown are five children Courtney, Megan, Amber, Alexis and Havanna Truver all of Jamestown; three sisters Dawn Bechmann of Buffalo, Jennifer Truver of Ashville and Stacey Truver of Bemus Point; grandmother Aggie Briggs of Chautauqua and his companion Liz Marlette. He was preceded in death by his mother and a nephew Bradley Stanton. The funeral will be held at 4 p.m. Wednesday in the Lind Funeral Home. Msgr. Joseph M. Dowdell will officiate. Burial will be in Sunset Hill Cemetery. Friends will be received for one hour prior to the service in the funeral home.
