Grandma Ellen, You will be greatly missed. You helped me through so many times and were such a great support to me when Ken was young. You took care of Ken and taught him so many things in the early years of his life. Thanks for all you did and remember that you will never be forgotten! Love and miss you!

Oh Gram, I don't even know where to start! We are going to miss you more than anyone knows! I feel so blessed that you were in my life and my girls were blessed for being able to know their great grandmother. I must tell you I already miss the phone calls every two weeks where you tell me how long your hair is already, then when I would cut it you would start saying how thick your hair is and how dark it is still then you would say "I shouldn't complain at my age at least I have hair!". Then I have to think about your stupid water bottle that would never work for me and would drip EVERYWHERE!
I am going to miss the stories you would tell about you and Gramps. And the way you ALWAYS knew what to do when one of the kids didn't feel good or were hurt. And lets not even get started on your baking.I ALWAYS called you when I would bake because you always knew what I could use in place of something. Oh 32 years of nothing but amazing memories there is just not enough room or time; anyone who knew you knows that you are one of a kind and no words could describe how amazing you are. I love you!

I remember a wonderful person who loved her children so much. She was so generous with her love to every child that came to her door. She was a fantastic cook and I remember the wonderful smells that were always in her kitchen. I send my love and sympathy to all of the family and pray for you all to find peace knowing she was so loved.

Gram,
Its hard to think we won't be talking again. I'm going to miss all of the stories you would tell me of the experiences you have had in life. I'm going to miss seeing you and that smile and laugh that lit up a room. I will miss my visits with you to the doctors and shopping at walmart. Im going to miss our lunch dates out and the ones where we stayed in more I think. I will even miss talking to you about what you heard on the police scanner. Its hard to believe that you wont be getting in my car ever again, have me buckle in your cane and when its all over have you tell me "it's hell to get old". I'm just going to miss you so much. You were who I turned to when I didn't know what to do when I had a problem, you always knew just the right thing to say. I am so glad and I feel so blessed to know that I got so close to you. I love you. You will be forever in my heart.

Grandma Cookie,
Even though I will miss you here, I'm glad you are united with the love of your life and you are no longer suffering. And although I will never taste your personally baked cookies or banana bread, I will forever cherish your Christmas gift from you years ago.
Visiting home will never be the same without you here and my care packages you always sent me back to Massachusetts with.
I Love You Grandma Cookie
