Obituary of Robert H. Carduner

Robert H. Carduner, 84, of 20 Max Drive, Morristown, NJ, died Wednesday, November 23, 2011 at the Morris Hills Center in Morristown. He was the husband of Linda Wozneak Carduner whom he married August 6, 1977. Robert was born April 30, 1927 in Bronx, NY, a son of the late Joseph and Theresa Bauman Carduner. A WWII US Navy veteran, he saw duty in the Battle of Okinawa. From 1946 to 1966 he served as a New York City policeman. For the next 15 years he was regional sales manager for the Lawyers Cooperative Publishing Co. and from 1981 until 1996, owner and president of the U.S. Lawbook Co. Robert is survived by his wife of Morristown; two sons, Keith (Simona) Carduner of Bloomfield Hills, MI, Thomas Carduner of Liberty, NY, and a daughter, Laura Carduner Rivello of Lakeland, FL; five grandchildren, William and Emma Carduner of Bloomfield, MI and Ashley, Noelle and Zachary Rivello of Lakeland, FL. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, Arthur Carduner. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Saturday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Father Dennis Crowley, Hospital Chaplain of the Morristown Medical Center and former Parochial Vicar of Assumption Parish in Morristown, NJ, will be celebrant. Burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery in Warren, PA. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7:30 to 9 p.m. Friday in the Lind Funeral Home, where a Christian Wake Service will be held at 8:30 p.m. led by Msgr. Joseph Dowdell.
