Obituary of Beverly C Snow

Beverly C. Snow, 69, of 104 Hall Ave. Jamestown, NY passed away at 7:45 p.m. Sunday (December 11, 2011) in the comfort of her home following a lengthy illness. An area resident for most of her life she was born July 28, 1942 in Pittsburgh, PA a daughter of the late Thomas C. and Mildred Parkhurst Clarkson. She was an active member of the Hillcrest Baptist Church where she was a member of the women's bible study, the church choir, the mission committee, the lady circle leaders and volunteered with the MOPS and AWANA Programs. She was also an avid supporter of the Jamestown High School Band Boosters. She will be remembered as a loving and caring mother and grandmother who loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She also enjoyed cooking and baking for her family and many church events. Surviving are her loving husband of 41 years Paul E. Snow, Sr., whom she married October 3, 1970, her three darling children John (Marjie) Wester of Sedalia, MO, Sharon (Chris) Hubbuch of Kansas City, MO, Laura Snow of Jamestown, three step-children Bonnie Snow, Paul E. Snow, Jr., Janice L. Snow all of Jamestown, seven grandchildren Nancy and David Wester, Katherine and Teddy Hubbuch, Ashley VanArsdale, Miranda and Jeremy Haley, numerous step grandchildren and step great grandchildren and her cousin Jay Kuntz of Pittsburgh, PA. The funeral will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday in the Hillcrest Baptist Church. The Rev. Jerry McCann, pastor will officiate. Burial will be in the Sunset Hill Cemetery. Friends will be received from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Thursday in the Lind Funeral Home. The family suggests that memorials be made to Hillcrest Baptist Church, 40 Hallock St. Jamestown, NY 14701 or to Hospice Chautauqua County, 20 West Fairmount Ave. Lakewood, NY 14750. A special heartfelt thank you is extended, by the family, to all of the caring individuals and staff of Hospice Chautauqua County for their continuous care and support during Beverly's illness.
