Wendy, You have been on my mind and found that your mother passed in December. I hold fond memories of your Mom and Dad who generously opened up their home to us. Because of your parents, I had one of my only vacation trips when they included me in your family spring trip to Myrtle Beach. I was always impressed with who she was and what she did. She was a wonderful role model. I am sure she is sorely missed.
Love, Cindy

Can't think of a better role model than Polly. She could do it all! What a marvelous woman. So blessed to have known her through the years. I send comfort to all of the Dickson family, but especially to my dearest friend Laurie.

Your mother was a very special woman in the medical community. When I married Dr. Hill she made me feel at home and encouraged me to get involved with all of them. I will never forget her helping me and getting drugs ready to be mailed overseas. She was always willing to help at the General Hospital Fair. I enjoyed being with her and we had a lot of fun with Fran Morgan and other doctors wives. Her picture is beautiful.

What a remarkable woman! I knew her as the mother of Laurie and Andy growing up with them and as the wife of my doctor. She has left quite a legacy due to her kindness and talent.

Mother lived a long and productive life, leaving each of us with our unique and highly varied memories. I'm sure she would celebrate that life just as we celebrated my father's, Christmas 1987.

Polly and I got to know one another at the YWCA where she was an active volunteer and leader of the organization. She was funny and kind and a wonderful woman in every sense of the word. May your fond memories bring you peace and comfort.

Dear Wendy...my love and sympathy to you and your family on the loss of your dear mother. What a special person she was- I have wonderful memories of her unceasing patience and generosity during our teenage years- your house was like a second home for me! I still have the snapshots of our trip to Cooperstown, and will never forget how she would load up the station wagon with giggling girls and take us to Moonbrook to swim. Remember when our moms took us to Erie to shop for school clothes? They were saints!!My thoughts are with you dear friend......B.

One of the first well-educated and sophisticated women that I met as a boy in Jamestown. When Peter invited me to their lively home with all the siblings, she'd always treat me as just another one of the kids, and often fed me to. The design of the house was amazing in that area at that time.
