Obituary of Lawrence E. Hunt

Lawrence E. "Larry" & "Lance" Hunt, 73, of 715 Falconer St. passed away at 7:00 a.m. Sunday (December 25, 2011) in the Lutheran Home and Rehabilitation Center. A lifelong area resident he was born November 26, 1938 in Jamestown, NY a son of the late William and Dora Pushback. In previous years he had worked for the former Murphy's Department Store, National Worsted Mills, Chautauqua Hardware, Monitor Furniture and Firch's Bakery. In earlier years he had attended the Zion Tabernacle and the Park United Methodist Church and was a former member of the Jamestown Loyal Order of the Moose. Surviving are a daughter Lorie Ann (James) Brown, a grandson Ethan S. Brown both of Greensburg, PA, a step son Keith Olson of W. VA., two step grandchildren Kyle and Allie Olson, two brothers Richard and Carl Pushback and a cousin Laurel Magnuson of Bemus Point. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers Walter and Robert Pushback and his adoptive mother Alice Hunt who raised him. A private service will be held at the convenience of the family. The Rev. Norman Burdick will officiate. Burial will be in the Westfield Cemetery. Visitation will not be observed.
