Lois and I were sister and brother, in the mid-30's, while I was a live-in cousin for a year. She leaves me with many great memories during our growing-up years. My thoughts and prayers are for her family during this difficult time.

Lois was a dear, sweet friend who never had a harsh word to say of anyone. I have had Lois on my mind and have thought of calling her to say"hello". I never thought she might be ill.Now she is gone and I am having trouble accepting that fact. Lois was one of my dearest friends with her cute giggle. So farewell old friend,I shall miss you terribly.
Love, Cotty Eger

Lois was my mother's first cousin (my mother Joyce Johnson Schultz). We used to get together for lunch, especially when Lois's sister Joanne was home for a visit. Lois was the best cook ever and won many recipe contests in the past. She inspired me to cook, along with my mother and two grandmothers, and try to come up with new recipes. I always admired her for her homemaking skills. She was a great asset to the community as well. We will miss her dearly!

Sorry that we could not be with you = we are enjoying the 'warmer' weather in Florida.

Steve & Cindy - So sorry to hear of Lois' passing. While we were step-brother and sister, we didn't get to spend much time together which is regretable. God's comforting grace to you at this time.

Steve and family,
My sincere heart goes to you all. Lois was an awesome family member. She embodies what is right, what is good, and what is pure in the loving human spirit. Take comfort that she is with Bob..father of "Bobby". Love each other and the wonderful memories of our Lois. How we love each other every day defines our soul.
Love you all,
Dale, Harv, or even "Rippity"

Lois will be missed and remembered as a vital part of the Lakewood community. I remember her as a very capable president of Lakewood Women's Club when I joined. She helped the Lakewood Library for many years as a bookkeeper. So many organizations benefited from her active participation. We send our sympathy to her family knowing how much she will be missed.

My thoughts and love are with the family during this very difficult time. Sarah has shared so many special memories and funny stories about Gigi over the years, and I was really looking forward to meeting her someday. While that may no longer possible, it is through these stories and memories that Gigi's spirit will live on. We will continue to celebrate Gigi's wonderful life for a long, long time to come.

Steve, Cindy and Family,
So sorry for your loss. I have enjoyed my times with Lois over the bridge table. Many years ago we took lessons together and played every Monday until we moved away. And when we returned to the area I rejoined the group. My prayers are with you.
