Obituary of Kathleen M. Keyes

Kathleen M. "Kathy" Keyes, 57, of 5956 Snug Harbor Road Mayville, NY passed away peacefully Friday February 17, 2012 in WCA Hospital. She was born May 7, 1954 in Jamestown the daughter of Leslie and Dona Anderson BeauJean. Kathy was a 1972 graduate of Southwestern Central High School and worked for many years in the Chautauqua Lake Central School cafeteria. She enjoyed spending time with her family, knitting, walking, gardening, and she loved animals. Kathy was a beloved and devoted daughter, wife, mother, sister, aunt, and friend. Surviving are her mother, Dona (Rod) Williams of Lakewood; her husband, Stephen D. Keyes whom she married August 16, 1975; two daughters, Kristine Keyes (fianc Scott Rowley) of Blairsville, PA; Kali Keyes of Sweden; a sister, Deborah (Gary) Zebrowski of Powhatan, VA; a half sister, Joanie (Doug) Clamp of Ashville, NY; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her father; and her brother, Leslie BeauJean Jr. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday in the Lind Funeral Home. The Rev. Tim Phelps, Hospice Chaplain will officiate. Burial will be in Sunset Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice Chautauqua County, 20 W Fairmount Ave, Lakewood, NY 14750; or the Chautauqua County Humane Society, 2825 Strunk Road, Jamestown, NY 14701.
