Obituary of Mark H. Allison

Mark H. Allison, 59, of 227 Hallock Street, died Wednesday February 29, 2012, in his home. A Jamestown native, he was born February 22, 1953, the son of Raymond and Jeannine Gould Allison. He was a 1972 graduate of Jamestown High School. He was employed as a maintenance worker by Chautauqua County, Fluvanna Super Duper and most recently Ponderosa Restaurant. He was baptized in Bethel Lutheran Church. He always had a kind greeting for people. He had an enormous collection of model cars which he assembled. Surviving are his mother, with whom he made his home and a sister Kathleen (James) Wojdyla of Johns Island, SC. He was preceded in death by his father. The funeral will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday in the Lind Funeral Home. Rev. Adam Miller-Stubbendick will officiate. Burial will be in Sunset Hill Cemetery. Friends will be received for one hour prior to the service in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Chautauqua County Humane Society, 2825 Strunk Road, Jamestown, NY 14701.
