Obituary of Eric J. Carlson

Eric J. Carlson, 34, of 303 S. Main Street, Jamestown, NY, died Friday, March 9, 2012. He was born November 9, 1977 in Jamestown, the son of Jeff and Carol Carlson. Eric graduated from Jamestown High School in 1996 and Jamestown Community College in 1999. Eric was the innkeeper at the Irondequoit Inn for several years and was an avid outdoorsman. He spent his free time fishing, hiking, camping and golfing. He also held several sales positions following his time in the Adirondacks. He truly enjoyed spending time with his family and friends whenever possible. Surviving are his parents, Jeff and Carol Carlson; three brothers: Chris, Carl and Rick Carlson, a niece, Sawyer Carlson and nephew, Samuel Carlson, all of Charlotte, NC, several aunts, uncles, cousins and many others that cared for Eric very much. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, John and Nancy Carlson, Samuel Bonfante and Ethel Blanchard. The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday at the Lind Funeral Home.
