Obituary of Josephine M. Enserro

Josephine M. Enserro, 94, formerly of 5 Beech Street, Jamestown and Riverside and Palm Springs, CA, died Thursday March 22, 2012, in Heritage Park Rehab and Skilled Nursing. A lifelong Jamestown resident, she was born February 11, 1918, a daughter of the late Joseph and Josephine Caprino Albano, Sr. She was a 1936 graduate of Jamestown High School. She loved to travel and shop. Surviving are two sons Robert P. (Kathleen) Enserro of Canandaigua, NY and Joseph P. Enserro of Riverside, CA; six grandchildren Stephanie Enserro of Buffalo, Robert M. Enserro of London, England, Gregory Enserro of Olathe, KS, Amy Jacobs of Emporia, KS, Joseph P. Enserro of Corona, CA and Joanna M. Burgess of Corona, CA and nine great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Angelo J. "Boots" Enserro, whom she married June 12, 1939 and who died May 10, 1999, three sisters Bessie Paterniti, Mary Ann Green and Sally Vullo and four brothers Basil and Anthony Raffa, Joseph P. Albano, Jr. and Philip W. Albano A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday in St. James Catholic Church. Burial will be in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Friends will be received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday in the Lind Funeral Home, where a Christian Wake Service will be led at 3:45 p.m. Memorials may be made to a charity of choice.
