Obituary of Lisa M. Ross

Lisa M. Ross, 50, of 50 W. Burtis St. Celoron, died unexpectedly Tuesday April 3, 2012 in her home. She was born June 25, 1961 in Bradford, PA the daughter of Wayne E. Quattrone and Patricia Higgins Klein. Lisa was a 1979 graduate of Southwestern Central High School and had worked at R-CO Products. She was also a care giver to many family and friends. Lisa loved all animals and was an avid collector of Zippo lighters and coins, and was a fan of Casper the Friendly Ghost. Her pride and joy was her family, especially her grandson. She is survived by her father Wayne and stepmother Florence Quattrone of Frewsburg; her mother, Patricia Klein of Jamestown; her husband Richard A. "Rick" Ross whom she married September 29, 1984; her daughter, Kylie M. Ross; her son, Michael A. Ross (fianc Danielle Kennelley); her grandson, Drayton Ross, all of Celoron; seven brothers and sisters, Darlene (Charlie) Doepp; Wayne E. (Erica) Quattrone II; Laurie Gedz; James (Nancy) Quattrone; Tina (Rick) Simon; Tracey (Matt) Storer; Jason Quattrone; her father in law, Donald Ross; special friends, Dawn Garfield; Tracie Kriegl; Jodie Turner; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her stepfather, Daniel Klein; her mother in law, M. Ann Ross; and a brother in law, James Ross. The funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday April 7 in the Lind Funeral Home. Msgr Joseph M. Dowdell, pastor of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and Peter Dawson, Fire Service Chaplain will officiate. A Committal service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday April 9, at Sunset Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday April 6 in the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Drayton Ross education fund in c/o the family.
