Obituary of Trudy Lynn Knapp

Trudy Lynn Knapp, 52, of 60 Boulevard Ave. Celoron, died unexpectedly Wednesday April 11, 2012 in her home. She was born December 8, 1959 in Salamanca, NY the daughter of the Rev. Roscoe A. Knapp and the late Lillian Snow Knapp. Trudy was a graduate of Panama High School and for over five years was employed at the Resource Center. Trudy was a hard worker who loved her job and was always there to help others. She especially loved animals and leaves behind her four dogs, Zander, Romeo, Kashi, and Tinkerbell, along with her two cats, Sophia and Tabatha. Trudy was a loving mother and grandmother who will be missed dearly by her many family and friends. Surviving besides her father of Warren, PA are, two daughters, Nicole Lanphere and Chelsey Knapp; three grandchildren, Ellijah Boerst, Caleb Lanphere, Zachary Lanphere, all of Jamestown; five siblings, Jim Knapp of Wellsville, NY; Bruce Knapp of NC; Debra Knapp of Lakewood, NY; Randy Knapp of St. Cloud, FL; and Dave Knapp of NC. In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by a son, Justin Lee Knapp. The funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday in the Lind Funeral Home. Friends may call from 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home. Burial will be in the Bear Lake Cemetery.
