Obituary of Pearl C. Balder

Pearl C. Balder, 86, formerly of the Frewsburg Rest Home and Lakewood, NY passed away at 5:50 a.m. Wednesday (April 25, 2012) in W.C.A. Hospital. An area resident for most of her life she was born May 29, 1925 in Sheffield, Pa a daughter of the late Fredolph and Marion H. Corbran Hultin. Before her retirement she was employed as an inspector for the former Marlin Rockwell Corporation, currently SKF, where she worked for many years. Surviving are two daughters Romaine May (Larry) Huntley, Sandra Kay Morando both of Lakewood, NY, five grandchildren Rhonda Buell of Corry, PA, Christian Huntley of Charlton, NY, Robert Morando, Michael Morando, Kristina Stewart all of Boca Raton, FL, five great grandchildren Ashley Amoroso, Donald Buell, Daniel Buell, Sarah Huntley, Zoe Morgan McPhearson and two sisters Lorraine Brown of Falconer, Eleanor Wilcox of Jamestown. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Dean Balder who died April 16, 2003, six brothers Eugene, Wallace, Robert, Kenneth, Larry, Leonard Hultin and a sister Dorothy Luther. The funeral will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, April 28, 2012, in the Lind Funeral Home. The Rev. Gerald A. Haglund, Chaplain of Heritage Park Rehab and Skilled Nursing Facility will officiate. Burial will be in the Lake View Cemetery. Friends will be received from 1-3 p.m. Saturday in the funeral home.
