Obituary of Edward C. Goodrich

Edward C. Goodrich, 70, of 837 Prendergast Ave. passed away Thursday, April 26, 2012, in Corry Manor Nursing Home, Corry, PA. A lifelong area resident he was born April 1, 1942 in Jamestown, NY a son of the late Charles and Myrtle Stebbins Goodrich. Before his retirement he was employed by the Crawford Furniture Company and in earlier years had worked for the former Watson Manufacturing Company for 30 years. Surviving are three daughters Julie (Jim) Howard of Ashville, Sheila Walters, Connie (Peter) Marucci both of Jamestown, seven grandchildren Ryan (Jacob) Kopta of Clymer, Megan Walters, Sarah Marucci, Andrew Marucci all of Jamestown, Nathan Walters of Norfolk VA, Brandie (Dustin) Hebner of Falconer, Hailey Howard of Panama, four great grandchildren Mason and Quinten Kopta, Ryen Hebner,and Blaine Walters, a brother R.E. Goodrich of CA, and two sisters Ruth Stearns of Ashville, Betty Williams of Spartansburg, PA. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am Monday in the Lind Funeral Home. The Rev. Dayle F. Keefer, pastor of the Fluvanna Community Church will officiate. Friends will be received for one hour prior to the service on Monday in the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the family.
