Obituary of Edward T. Coalier

Edward T. Coalier, 90, formerly of 30 Lakeview Drive, Lakewood, died Tuesday May 1, 2012, in Heritage Green Rehab and Skilled Nursing. He was born June 1, 1921, in Detroit, MI, the son of the late Edward and Jessie Van Vlack Coalier. He was a 1939 graduate of Jamestown High School and was a WWII veteran serving in the US Army from 1943-45. Prior to his retirement in 1985, he was employed by Dahlstrom Manufacturing as a draftsman. He was a life member of the VFW in Mayville. He enjoyed spending winters in Florida. Surviving are his daughter Patricia Ambrowsky of Jamestown; six grandchildren Tina (Ray) Foster of Lyons, NY, Shawn (Nola Pike) Lee of Jamestown and Chad, Kelly, Caroline and Sam Coalier, all of St. Louis, MO and three great grand Patricia Pettibon of Jamestown, Brandon Lee of Fairport, NY and Brianna Lee of Lyons, NY. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, the former Iona Cook who died October 5, 2009, a son James Coalier in 2006 and a grandson Gary Hartsell in 1999.
