Obituary of Albert Donus

Albert Donus, 86, of Jamestown, NY and Hagerstown, MD, died Saturday May 19, 2012, in UPMC Hamot Medical Center, Erie, PA, after a brief illness. A native of Paterson, NJ, he was born July 12, 1925, the son of the late Albert and Minnie Breen Donus. He earned a bachelor's degree for New York University in accounting and went on to become a certified public accountant. An extremely hard worker, he was employed by Fairchild Aircraft as an auditor and later became Dean of Instruction at Hagerstown Business College while at the same time owning and operating Betty Winn Incorporated. Surviving is a daughter Gail Donus of Jamestown and Hagerstown, a sister-in-law Lucille Crossley of Hagerstown and several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his wife the former Gladys Crossley, whom he married June 8, 1946 and who died November 13, 2007 and a sister Marion Stroher.
